Somerville has emerged as a major commercial real estate engine. In Assembly Square, life science companies and multifamily developers are flocking to adjacent underutilized sites along the Mystic River. This emerging section of the city is leveraging its urban ring location to attract new development and enrich the area with public art, retail, amenities, new open space, housing, and infrastructure improvements. The catalyst for this transformation, Assembly Row, is ready to unveil its newest buildings, and neighboring parcels are rapidly progressing.
Join NAIOP to hear about the latest developments in this growing neighborhood. Attendees will tour Miscela, a new 500-unit apartment building; 455 Grand Union Boulevard, which includes the new North American Headquarters of PUMA; and have a beverage at Owl’s Nest, a brand-new beer garden and entertainment space by Night Shift Brewing.
Following the tour, those who are leading the continued transformation of the ever-expanding Assembly Square neighborhood will discuss these projects and more of what’s next.
