Description

From day one, addressing the housing crisis has been a priority for the Healey-Driscoll Administration, as demonstrated by the passage of the historic Affordable Homes Act and the creation of a Housing Advisory Council to develop a statewide housing plan; an Unlocking Housing Production Commission to develop recommendations for streamlining housing production; the development of an expanded inventory of state-owned land suitable for housing; and many more actions directed to the production and preservation of housing across the Commonwealth.
