Operationalizing AI in the Built Environment

Operationalizing AI in the Built Environment

Thursday, April 2, 2026 (2:30 PM - 6:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Join us for a forward-looking program that moves beyond the “hype cycle” of Artificial Intelligence and into real-world application, implementation, and measurable ROI across development.

Steve Weikal of MIT will set the stage for how AI and other breakthrough technologies are reshaping the commercial real estate landscape, exploring both the impact on the industry’s workforce and operations, as well as the evolving demands and expectations of customers.

From there, representatives from leading startups will participate in a dynamic startup showcase. Each will demonstrate how their platforms are actively de-risking development, improving cost certainty in construction, and helping owners protect and enhance Net Operating Income.

Speakers include:

Diana Kay of Suffolk Technologies will then moderate a candid discussion as Josh Weiner of Marc RealtyChristopher Gildea of JLL, and Chris Lanzisera of Suffolk Design & Construction share practical insights on adoption challenges, integration into existing workflows, and the quantifiable results they’re seeing across their portfolios as they actively implement these tools.

Designed for developers, owners, investors, and industry professionals, this event will contextualize the current wave of technological advancement and provide an actionable roadmap for near-term AI adoption in commercial real estate.
