Industrial Real Estate Roundtable
Tuesday, April 6, 2021 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)
The NAIOP Real Estate Roundtable series provides an opportunity for commercial real estate professionals to take a deep dive and learn more about issues relating to different industry sectors. Join NAIOP for the first roundtable discussion on the Industrial market.
The industrial sector has become the darling of the commercial real estate industry. Boston was long considered a second tier industrial market, but is now benefiting from a surge in capital due to the underlying fundamentals of the region (including population density and a skilled workforce) that drive tenant demand. Retailers looking for last-mile access to Boston's consumer base or companies looking for a workforce to handle high-tech manufacturing and R&D are competing over the limited available supply. This results in low vacancies, high rents and insatiable investor demand.
Join NAIOP and moderator Chris Skeffington, Executive Vice President at CBRE as we discuss the evolving landscape of the industrial sector from traditional storage and distribution to flex/R&D and life science manufacturing.
