Description

This 2-day course from NAIOP Massachusetts University covers the tools and knowledge necessary to conduct advanced business and financial analysis in real estate transactions. Topics include: analyzing financial aspects of an office lease; underwriting and structuring construction loans and permanent mortgages; structuring a joint venture and estimating returns to each partner; and, how to restructure non-performing loans and exit a troubled joint venture.

The course will include illustrative practice exercises for each topic that will be a collaborative effort by small groups using Zoom’s Breakout Rooms. The goal of the course is to provide practical business and financial knowledge useful in transacting commercial real estate leases and financing.
