TOCCI - Lead Superintendent
TOCCI desires to hire a Superintendent to lead all day-to-day job-site activities on construction projects. The successful candidate will help plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects including materials and equipment, personnel, and documentation. They will fulfill project goals, completing each project in a safe and timely manner with all activities supporting the strategy, vision, and culture of TOCCI.
Responsibilities
- Direct subcontractor work ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, quality, and safety in accordance with OSHA regulations and building codes
- Demonstrate leadership by providing clear direction, inspiring excellent performance, and mentoring team members
- Safely direct work in occupied spaces.
- Document daily project progress in Procore
- Manage product delivery pipeline for on-time delivery of all materials
- Work with municipal authorities to assure construction meets code and all permits are obtained
- Assure subcontractor compliance with safety program through daily inspections
- Preside at weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
- Assume responsibility for final close-out and completion
- Meet all interim milestones
- Forecast and resolve problems
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent.
- MA CSL and OSHA 30 certification
- Experience: 10+ years supervising construction projects or multiple concurrent valued $20m+
- Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability and generate future work through building relationships.
- Trustworthy: strong relationship building skills that foster trust
- Able to anticipate outcomes, face challenges head-on, resolve issues quickly
- Decisive: make sound decisions to expedite the project
- Direct: negotiate skillfully in tough situations while maintaining relationships
- Respected: excellent references attesting to can-do attitude, history of achievement and co-worker respect
- Competent with Procore, MSOffice, and Timberline (or equivalent systems)
- Duties will require physical ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction and noise, dust, and fumes from heavy equipment.
