Job Title: Director, Center of Excellence


Position Overview: The Director of the Center of Excellence (COE) is responsible for working across all functional teams on the account to achieve account KPI objectives, ensure that the account is delivering Key MSA requirements and drive innovation across the organization. This senior leadership role focuses on enhancing program management effectiveness, consistency, and continuous governance improvement while shaping strategy and fostering a culture of excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership: 

• Develop and execute long-term COE strategy, aligning with overall business objectives 

• Identify emerging trends and opportunities to enhance organizational capabilities 

• Collaborate with Service Line peers to drive transformational change 


Program and Portfolio Management: 

• Lead team in developing program management policies, guidelines, and best practices 

• Plan, implement, and refine program management tools to optimize processes and performance 

• Ensure enterprise-wide process continuity and alignment within client platforms 

• Develop and monitor key metrics at program and portfolio levels 


Operational Excellence:

• Establish business and program management processes, workflow models, standards, and tools 

• Lead centralized reporting and planning services, ensuring timely status reporting 

• Develop program and audit controls to enhance service quality and compliance

 • Drive process improvement initiatives across business units 


Team Leadership and Development: 

• Offer strong leadership, technical guidance, and coaching to diverse teams 

• Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement 


Stakeholder Management: 

• Build and maintain relationships with client teams, senior executives, and key partners 

• Represent the COE at the executive level, advocating for resources and support 

• Communicate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences 


Innovation and Change Management: 

• Lead identification and adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies 

• Spearhead change management initiatives for successful implementation of new practices 


Governance and Risk Management: 

• Develop and oversee governance frameworks aligned with corporate policies and regulations 

• Manage and mitigate risks associated with COE initiatives and organizational change


Qualifications: 

• Minimum 10 years of program management or related experience, with 5 years in a management role preferably in corporate real estate 

• Proven success in strategic thinking, process improvement, building partnerships, and organizational agility 

• Experience managing diverse teams and substantial national real estate portfolios 

• Advanced organizational and presentation skills 

• In-depth understanding of program management processes and risk analysis

Estimated total compensation for this position: 136,680.00 – 174,000.00 USD per year


The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .


Location: Remote –Boston, MA
