Position Summary

The role of Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development is an outstanding opportunity for the right Candidate. The SVP will report directly to the President and with overall responsibilities for Acquisitions, Development, Financing, and Asset Management. A close working relationship with the President will be critical to success in this position. He will ask for your input and value your advice and ideas. The culture is collaborative, and the SVP will also be working closely with the senior team, including the CFO and other senior staff. The SVP will be a public representative of the President and the Company when meeting with various outside parties, including: Consultants, Brokers, Public Officials, Bankers, Contractors, Attorneys, Tenants, etc.

Candidate Requirements

The SVP must be a good relationship builder, present a professional image and demeanor, possess excellent communication skills, and always represent the Company with the utmost professionalism and integrity. The SVP should be an energetic self-started, smart, well educated, with an existing local network of relationships and a good reputation. Additionally, the SVP must have strong experience working in the Eastern Massachusetts market in acquisitions and development of industrial properties. The SVP must also have experience managing a team, managing the acquisitions and development process, sourcing deals, financial analysis skills, managing the financing process, and negotiating leases.

The ideal Candidate will have 15-20 + years of related real estate experience, strong education credentials, including a BS or BA, and a graduate degree in Real Estate or MBA is a plus.
