Boston Development Group is a small family-owned real estate company based out of Newton Centre, MA that develops, owns, and manages commercial real estate. We specialize in owner operated commercial real estate consisting of retail, restaurant, and office spaces in the Greater Boston Area. Our mission is to provide tenants with space for their companies to grow and thrive and manage properties with a high level of quality and integrity. We pride ourselves in having a great team that all work together and support each other. 

We are looking for someone to fill our Lease Administrator role who is a team player, extremely detail-oriented, and organized. This person must have general understanding of lease documents and financial terms in regard to commercial real estate. A residential real estate background will be considered with an active real estate salesperson license. 


-         Market Current Availability within BDG’s Portfolio 

-         Communicate Clearly and Concisely by Phone and Email

-         Draft Commercial Leases and Relative Documents

-         Organize Files in Shared Drive as well as Physical Folders

-         Utilize DocuSign to Send Documents for Signature

-         Cold Call Prospective Tenants about Spaces for Lease

-         Create Marketing Materials such as Flyers and Targeted Emails

-         Manage MailChimp Audiences and Contact Information

-         Coordinate with Brokers regarding Spaces and Interested Clients

-         Schedule Tours with Brokers and Prospects

-         Process Vacancy Report and Renewal Schedules

-         Discuss Lease Document Status, Questions and/or Open Issued with Owner and other Departments such as Property Management and Accounting

-         Process Lease Commissions for Respective Ownership Entity of Property

-         Update LoopNet/CoStar and Buildout Platforms with our Availability to Market Spaces

-         Respond to Inquiries for Space in a Timely Manner with Excellent Disposition

-         3+ years of commercial real estate lease administration experience, knowledge of standard and non-standard lease components. Ability to interpret complex retail and commercial lease language and an understanding of the accounting requirements of leases is essential.

-         Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and results driven environment with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.


-         Bachelor’s degrees

-         Real Estate License is a plus.

-         Proficiency with Technology in general. Yardi experience is a plus.

-         Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Applications.

-         Excellent Written Communications

-         This position requires keen attention-to-detail, self-motivation, flexibility, a solution mindset and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

-         Overall knowledge and interest in the commercial real estate industry is critical to success in this position. Working knowledge of leases is a plus.
