From the Perspective of the Landlord, Tenant and Lender
This is a two-day course on April 27th and April 28th (new dates). The course will provide an overview of the commercial leasing process and educate students on pertinent leasing issues and clauses in lease transactions for office, industrial and retail. Students will become familiar with lease terminology and gain an understanding on how to maximize value in a lease transaction. Attendees should have a financial calculator. Topics covered include:
- Lease terminology
- Lease documents, terms, and clauses
- Financial structure; lease values, NOI
- Critical red flag lease clauses
