Join NAIOP MA for an insider’s discussion into the early design and development stages, leasing activity, and brand experience on tap at Lyrik Back Bay (Parcel 12), Boston’s most significant air-rights project completed in over 40 years.

Lyrik was designed to frame the western sky, harnessing the sunset as a way to celebrate and renew the city’s energy and its people. Built over eight lanes of the Mass Pike, the MBTA’s Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line, Amtrak railroad tracks and The Green Line, Lyrik has created new ground from nothing, taking its place as Back Bay’s western anchor and Boston’s gateway.

Lyrik is co-anchored by 450,000 square feet of commercial space, 1001 Boylston, home to CarGurus’ new global headquarters and the LEGO Group’s Americas Head Office, along with citizenM’s largest hotel. Lyrik will begin to unfold this summer with the hotel opening and visitors will be able to experience Boston’s first outpost for the electric vehicle brand Rivian. The addition of George Howell Coffee, Pink Carrot, and Michelin iTi three-star tea house ChiCha San Chen is planned for late fall. Come spring 2025, Avra Estiatorio will open with fine Mediterranean cuisine, expansive views of Back Bay, private balcony seating, and a spacious bar area.

Speakers will share the story of the transformation of Parcel 12 into a newfound anchor for the neighborhood and gateway to Boston - a draw for tourists and residents alike.
